KARACHI: Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair on Saturday visited the residence of late Zubaida Tariq, popularly known as Zubaida Apa, to offer condolences on her demise.
An official of Governor House said that the governor recalled the services of the deceased, an expert in culinary arts. He offered condolence to Zubaida Apa’s brother Anwar Maqsood and son Hussain Tariq.
Zubaida Apa had passed away here on Thursday night after a protracted illness and was laid to rest on Friday. Her funeral prayer was offered at Sultan Masjid, Defence, and was attended by people from various walks of life.
