UK HC assures PM’s Advisor on Finance of support to consolidate Pak-UK cooperation

ISLAMABAD: British High Commissioner Thomas Drew called on the Prime Minister’s Economic Affairs and Revenue Finance Adviser, Dr Miftah Ismail here on Friday and congratulated him on assuming responsibilities as a financial adviser to the PM.

The British HC assured Dr Mitfah of his full support in the efforts for further consolidating Pak-UK cooperation.

He also apprised the adviser about the activities of DFID in support of the government’s development plans and programmes.

Dr Miftah Ismail on the occasion said that Pakistan and UK have always enjoyed cordial relations. He appreciated the efforts of Mr Thomas drew for further strengthening these relations.
