Two women injured as India shells Nezapir sector in fresh ceasefire violation

In a fresh incident of ceasefire violation, Indian forces on Friday shelled Nezapir sector along the Line of Control (LoC), wounding two women, a day after the Pakistan Army killed two Indian troops in a retaliatory fire on the Working Boundary.

“[The ceasefire was violated] today in [the] Nezapir sector targeting civil population,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

This was the second incident of ceasefire violation by the Indian troops in 2018.

On Thursday, Indian Border Security Force (BSF) resorted to unprovoked firing and targeted civilian population in Zafarwal Sector.
