Faisalabad: Jhang Traffic Police, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), has been arrested red-handed while taking a bribe during a raid by an anti-corruption team.
The team headed by Toba Tek Singh Assistant Director Investigation Abdul Razzaq Khan, took action after a complaint was lodged by a resident of Toba Tek Singh with the Faisalabad Anti-Corruption Director Dr Arshad Ahmed.
The complainant stated that ASI Muhammad Sabir Farooq had demanded Rs 20,000 as a bribe for releasing his Truck & its driver.
A case has been registered against the ASI in Toba Tek Singh police station.
