PESHAWAR: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday conducted raids on various soap factories located on Ring Road here and seized a fake soap factory on the charges of copyright violations.
FIA also arrested the owner of the factory and seized all soaps being prepared under different brand names of various companies.
The agency was acting on a complaint lodged by the factory owner of Sandha Soap, Malik Ibrahim Qureshi. They conducted a raid and inspected various factories.
During the raids, the FIA team found out that a factory was preparing fake soap and packing them with labels of many famous brands’. The owners of the factory have been arrested and an investigation has been launched.
