ISLAMABAD: Non-bailable warrants against three witnesses were issued by the anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday while hearing a case regarding blasphemous content on social media.
Taking notice of the nonappearance of three witnesses who have not appeared before the court since the proceedings began, the ATC ordered the police to arrest and present Roman Ahmad, Ammar Yasir and Ehtesham Ahmed on January 8.
The ATC in September 2017 had charged four suspects for uploading ‘blasphemous’ content on social media.
