KARACHI: Sindh Rangers claimed to have arrested eight alleged criminals, including a target killer affiliated with a political party, during different raids in the metropolis on Thursday.
A statement issued by a spokesperson said that the Rangers conducted targeted raids in the Garden area of the city and detained a target killer, Muhammad Rashid Ahmed alias Muna. He was stated to be involved in target killings and several other crimes across the city.
Separately, the Rangers carried out raids in Jamshed Quarters and Awami Colony where four street criminals, Muhammad Amir Humza, Abid Hussain, Sultan Chandio and Jamil Ahmed were arrested.
A search operation in Jamshed Quarters was also held by the Rangers in which three Afghan nationals, Salaam, Dawood Shah and Abdul Khaliq were detained.
The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, drugs, and contrabands from the arrested.
