No confidence motion against Balochistan CM a democratic right: Sarfaraz Bugti

QUETTA: Former Balochistan home minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti said that no-confidence motion moved against Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri is their democratic, constitutional and political right, as the majority of the members of Balochistan Assembly are with them.

He expressed these views on Thursday at Senator Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir’s residence while talking to media, along with Balochistan Assembly members Mir Jan Mohammad Jamali, Sardar Saleh Bhotani, Abdul Qadoos Bezenjo, Fateh Baledi, Syed Agha Raza, Amanullah Notazi and Mir Abdul Karim Nosherwani.

He further said, “I am an integral part of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). We are democratic people, and in a democratic system, people in the majority rule.” He added, “We have political differences with Zehri but traditionally, being Baloch tribal, he is respectful for us.”

He informed that provincial government had removed the security provided to MPA Dr Raqia Hashmi and MPA Syed Raza Agha, which was alarming. He said, “Political situation of Balochistan should not be compared with political crisis going on in the whole of the country.”

“No confidence motion against Balochistan CM is part of the democratic process. We are political people and believe in political revival,” he added.
