FAISALABAD: A seminary student was found dead in the area of Jhang Bazaar police station here on Wednesday.
Police said that police received information from the administration of Madrassa Sirajia Zainabul Uloom situated in Liaqatabad that a student named Ejaz, 10, was found dead on the rooftop of the seminary in the morning.
Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and took three students named Ehsan, Sajjad and Shoaib into custody for investigation.
During interrogation, Ehsan confessed that he had strangulated Ejaz to death.
The police shifted the body to Allied Hospital for postmortem and further investigation is underway.
