Zehri wishes peace, prosperity for Balochistan in New Year’s message

 Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri has expressed good wishes for country and nation, particularly Balochistan and the people of the province, for their development, stability and prosperity. He has prayed may new year should be year of peace, security and prosperity.

He said this in a statement issued here on Sunday. He said that Balochistan was moving on the road to progress and sun of peace has risen in the province. Terrorists were facing defeat in war on terror. With sacrifices of security forces and cooperation of people terrorists have been eliminated. Remaining terrorists were being taken to task by law-enforcement agencies.

He said the government was not only aware of its responsibilities about problems of people and development and was sincerely working to fulfill these responsibilities. He said the government was striving for progress of the province and prosperity of its people. The government has given special attention to education and health from the beginning and increased the budget of these sectors manifolds.

The provincial government achieved several targets last year including measures for development of education and health sectors, effective and comprehensive planning and its implementation, meaningful measures for eradication of polio, people friendly and balanced budget for 2017-18. Reconciliation, solidarity and atmosphere of brotherhood in the province would be promoted, he added.

He said a net of roads has been laid in the province and their completion would not only provide travelling facility to the people but it would also increase trade immensely bringing prosperity in the province and reduction in poverty.

The CM has also reiterated his commitment that provincial government with the cooperation of federal government and support of people would ensure completion of its commitment of progress of the province and change into reality dream of developing Balochistan at pat with other provinces. In the new yea our attention would be on ending poverty, illiteracy, backwardness, unemployment and lawlessness and promoting education and health and peace and stability.
