QUETTA: The police foiled a terror bid as it recovered a bomb in the provincial capital which was later diffused by the bomb disposal squad (BDS).
According to details, the police during a routine patrolling at Circular Road in Quetta found a bomb weighing 10 kilogrammes, planted by the roadside by unknown miscreants. Security sources said that the miscreants wanted to target vehicles of law enforcement agencies.
The BDS was called after which they diffused the bomb, preventing major loss of lives and property.
