Six robbers among 15 apprehended

 

Sindh Rangers claimed to have arrested 15 alleged criminals, including six robbers in different targeted raids in the metropolis on Friday.

A statement issued by Rangers spokesman said that the Rangers conducted targeted raids in Saudabad, Kalakot, Brigade and Awami Colony and detained six robbers, Umair, Shahzad, Raza, Muhammad Zuhaib, Shahruk and Muhammad Owais. They were allegedly involved in several robberies, said a statement.

Separately, a Rangers team carried out raids in Saudabad and Awami Colony and arrested three drug peddlers, Shahid Hussain, Rehan and Salman.

Meanwhile, a Rangers party conducted search operations in Kalakot and Awami Colony and detained five suspects Asif Durani, Shah Nawaz, Walid Ahmed, Faqir Muhammad and Saad Nawab.

A ‘political activist’ Yousuf Ali alias Baadi was also arrested by the Rangers from Gulberg area.
