MULTAN: The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed six food outlets disposed-off substandard sweets and gutka in various cities of Punjab on Friday.
The PFA Spokesperson said that the PFA team conducted operations against the selling of substandard food items by the sellers in Multan,Vehari, Khanewal and Bahawalnagar cities.
During separate operations, the PFA also disposed-off thousands of packets 145 kg of substandard sweets and 60kg of cooked food. The PFA also imposed a fine of Rs75,000 on food outlets for poor cleanliness conditions and substandard food, besides issuing a warning to several others.
