No concession for the corrupt: Sarwar

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) core committee member and former Punjab governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said Friday that corrupt people will neither get any concession nor will they get any deals to facilitate them.

“Corruption has become more poisonous than cancer. It must be uprooted. PTI is doing politics of principles and manifestation of people’s desires in true letter and spirit. Imran Khan will become the next prime minister of Pakistan with the votes of the people. Workers and leaders will stand united in the electoral campaign for the success in 2018,” he said.

He was addressing a breakfast gathering hosted in his honour by local bodies elected representatives and workers of PTI in Shahdara.

Farooq Khan, Junaid Razaq, Naeem Haider Butt, and the former member provincial assembly (MPA) Mian Mehmood were also present on the occasion.

“The apprehension and trial of corrupt elements are due to the struggle of our party. Corrupt elements must not be given space in parliament and politics. Pakistan cannot become a prosperous country due to this corruption, so the eradication of corruption is essential. PTI is fighting for the national interests,” he added.
