Mild intensity earthquake hits parts of Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: A mild intensity earthquake, measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale, hit the southern parts of Balochistan Friday noon.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 63 kilometres south of Chaman, Balochistan, with a depth of 3.5 kilometres, the Met Office reported.

So far, there have been no reports of loss of lives and damage to properties from any part of the province.
