LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Central Punjab President Aleem Khan hosted a luncheon in honour of Jehangir Khan Tareen where he admired the commitment and dedication shown by Tareen to the party’s cause and Imran Khan to bring countrywide change.

He said that there is no doubt in the administrative capabilities of Tareen, and every party worker should take guidance from the performance shown by him for strengthening PTI.

Members of the National Assembly (MNA) Shafqat Mahmood, Sarwar Khan and Munnaza Hassan, and other party leaders including Mohammad Sarwar, Rai Hassan Nawaz, Shaukat Bhatti, Ejaz Diyaal, Jamshaid Iqbal Cheema, Ali Imtiaz Warriach, Malik Zaman Naseeb, Abdul Kareem Kalwar, Dr Shahid Siddique, Mian Iftikhar and Jamshaid Butt were also present along with many party workers here at a local hotel.

Tareen thanked Abdul Aleem Khan and the PTI Central Punjab Region for holding the reception in his honour, and said that he would continue his efforts for this beloved land and make PTI more powerful.

He also appreciated the cooperation of the party workers and the leaders during his tenure as secretary general and said that we all should focus on the main objective of bringing positive change for establishing Pakistan per the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Talking to the different delegations, Aleem Khan said that all the schemes of Punjab are full of corruption, and Sharif brothers cannot get mercy by going to Jeddah again.

He said that once again it has been proved that Khaqan Abbasi is a puppet prime minister who cannot control its cabinet members on giving statements against the national institutions.

Khan stressed that everybody knows that accountability has been started as a result of the long-time struggle of PTI and Imran Khan, and now no one can stop it. He said that Nawaz Sharif and his allies will have to face the consequences of corruption, and they cannot hide behind any curtain.
