Rangers nab eight accused including diesel smuggler

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Thursday claimed to have arrested eight accused, including a diesel smuggler during different targeted raids in Karachi.

According to Rangers’ spokesperson, a Rangers’ team carried out a targeted raid in Tool Plaza and seized 40,000 litres of smuggled Iranian diesel from a tanker, with registration number TUC-902. However, they arrested the driver, Muhammad Rafiq.

Separately, a Rangers’ team detained a political party MQM-London activist, Junaid from Khawaja Ajmeer Nagri area. The accused was started to be involved in several crimes including target killing.

Meanwhile, rangers apprehended three Lyari gang war members, Muhammad Rahil alias Muna, Murtaza Khan, and Abdurahman alias Mani.

Rangers conducted search operations in Gadap town and Jamshed Quarters and arrested three street criminals, Muhammad Suleman, Akash Masi and Kashif Masi.

The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons and contrabands from their possession.
