LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leadership has decided to take a disciplinary action against former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, based on the demands of some of the party’s senior leaders including Ahsan Iqbal.
Earlier, Ahsan blamed Nisar for allegedly meddling in his ministry’s affairs. A significant chunk of PML-N now harbours animosity towards Nisar, according to ARY News.
According to the report, chances are that the PML-N may either expel Nisar from the party or give him show cause notice.
Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has snubbed Nisar’s statement against the anti-judiciary campaign proposed by Sharif, following the Supreme Court’s ruling against him in Panama Leaks case.
Mr. C.M.N.Khan is one of the most senior member of the PMl(n) party. He has advised caution to the party in the crisis against the judiciary. He has been constantly sidelined. Action against him would amount to major crisis in the party. The other politicians in the party are midgets compared to him. Who was it that saved PM bacon when the now disqualified PM turned to when Imran was leading a dharna outside the parliament?It was Mr.Khan.His loyality to the party is unquestionable.His criticism ls constuctive not destructive.Don’t turn him into a martyr.
