LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated famous columnist and presidential award winning Seerat writer, Asghar Ali Javed over his selection as secretary of a literary body “Dareecha.”
He also congratulated Joint Secretary Syed Ashraf Naqvi and other office bearers over their success in the annual elections.
In his message of felicitations, the CM termed the selection of Asghar Ali Javed as secretary of “Dareecha” a welcome step and hoped that the new body will work hard for the promotion of Urdu literature, as well as, the protection of rights of writers.
