MULTAN: Multan police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested nine lawyers for consuming liquor in Cantt area of Multan.
On the directives of city police officer Multan Sarfraz Ahmad Falki, a police team raided a house and detained nine lawyers who were consuming liquor.
The police also claimed to have recovered imported and local liquor bottles from their possession.
They have registered FIR (First Information Report) against detainees and started further legal formalities.
