LARKANA: Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani on Monday said that the judicial murder of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was an international conspiracy as Bhutto family never been given justice.
Talking to journalists here, he said that enemies of the country did not want to see a democratic Pakistan move forward. “An international conspiracy was hatched to arrange the judicial murder of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. His daughter Benazir Bhutto was also martyred on the streets of Rawalpindi,” he said.
The Senate chairman said that the foes of democracy have attacked at Pakistan sovereignty by murdering Benazir Bhutto, otherwise, the interior and foreign policy directions of the country would have been much different. “The parliament is not the strongest of the institutions in Pakistan,” he said.
“But if the parliament works within bounds of the constitution and law in the country, they can transform.” Reminding the memories of December 27, when Benazir was assassinated, he termed the day as ‘black day’ and now the loves of her came here to pay tribute their beloved leaders and they promised to get her mission forward in the leadership of her son Bilawal Bhutto.
