No future of corrupt politicians: Ch Sarwar

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) central leader and former Punjab governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said that the future of corrupt people, who save corruption in the guise of democracy, is obsolete.

“Rulers and their cronies are attacking the democracy,” he said while addressing a rally in Shahdara arranged by Junaid Razzaq.

Junaid Razzaq, Waseem Chaudhry, Azhar Rasheed, Hafiz Asif Iqbal, and Khalid Gujjar were also present at the occasion.

“PTI is standing by all the state institutions. In a democracy, institutions not only ensure the strength of democracy, but they also protect the public interest. Without strengthening the state institutions, Pakistan cannot move ahead,” he said adding that Pakistan is the democracy and not a monarchy.

People of Pakistan want Imran Khan as the next prime minister, Sarwar claimed. He added, “PTI is the spokesperson of the people’s wishes and manifests the national interest,” he added.
