Muqam says Imran, Qadri, Zardari creating unrest

PESHAWAR: Adviser to Prime Minister and PML-N Provincial President Ameer Muqam on Friday said that former president Asif Ali Zardari, PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri were trying to create unrest and uncertainty among people for their personal interests.

Addressing a public gathering while inaugurating sui-gas provision scheme at Salampura in Swat, he said that only people have right to select their leaders by the power of the ballot. He said that the trio – Zardari, Imran and Qadri – were working on the same agenda to stop ongoing progress and development.

Muqam said that essence of politics was to serve people and his political career reflects the policy of dedication and sincerity towards people. He said that former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has served the nation with honesty while his opponents were merely raising slogans to mislead people.

He said that it astonishes that till now who were the staunchly criticising the metro bus have started the same sought of the project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that the provincial government was involved in massive corruption in various uplift projects initiated in Pakhtunkhwa.

Despite having no mandate, Muqam said he has accomplished different electricity, gas and infrastructure projects. He also criticised ANP, saying that its leaders have not fulfilled any of its promises during their tenure. He urged the people to vote PML-N into power in the next general election.
