SHEIKHUPURA: A lady security guard was killed and a nurse injured when a car hit the wall of district headquarter hospital building of the city on Saturday.
According to sources, a lady doctor Ayesha Ibrahim lost control of her car and drove it into hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) ward. As a result, a female security guard, Taraseen Masih, and a nurse received severe injuries.
The injured were given treatment at the same hospital but Taraseen was referred to Lahore due to critical condition, but she succumbed to her injuries while being shifted to Lahore.
Police have started an investigation into the incident.
