LAHORE: The Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) plans to introduce a database containing information regarding private and public colleges and universities in the province, faculties, enrolled students and programmes.
According to a report, PHEC plans to complete the database by next year and make it available to the public in order to develop a workable plan for the up-gradation of higher education of the province.
PHEC Chairman Dr Muhammad Nizamuddin stated that the decision to introduce student-teacher database is going to be a helpful step in the higher education scenario of the province.
