Rangers nab 18 criminals

Sindh Rangers on Thursday arrested 18 criminals including a member of a banned outfit in different targeted raids in the metropolis.

According to Rangers’ spokesperson, the rangers carried out a targeted raid in Korangi Industrial Area and apprehended a member of banned outfit, Abdullah alias Tanki. The accused was stated to be involved in several terrorist activities.

Separately, Rangers conducted search operations in Korangi Industrial Area, New Karachi, and Saeedabad areas, and detained four accused, Syed Hussan Imam, Syed Kashif, Hussan, Farhan Danish, and Muhammad Nadeem alias Toni. The accused were stated to be affiliated to MQM-London and involved in crime.

A Rangers’ team raided in Khokhrapar and Memon Goth areas and apprehended two Lyari gang war accused, Rashid alias Salari, and Sarfaraz Ahmed.

During crackdown on street criminals, the Rangers nabbed four street criminals, Shahab udin, Zeeshan Khan, Aijaz Azeem, and Rizwan, from Baldia Town, New Karachi, Korangi and Awami Colony.

The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, drugs and contrabands from their possession.
