KARACHI: A team of Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) has arrested a suspect after an encounter in the limits of Darakshan police station here on Wednesday.
The police said that the two suspects riding a motorcycle were signalled to stop by the team of ACLC police in Defence Housing Authority (DHA). The suspects resorted to firing upon the police which led to an encounter. One suspect identified as Asif was arrested in injured condition while his accomplice managed to escape.
A gun and motorcycle were also seized from the arrested suspect.
Further investigation is underway.
