NEF enrolls 2,342 students under vocational schools project

ISLAMABAD: Education and Professional Training Federal Minister, Engineer Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman chaired the 22nd meeting of the National Education Foundation (NEF) Board of Governors here on Wednesday and discussed the vocational schools project and the sustainability of the community model schools programme of NEF.

The meeting was told that NEF has successfully enrolled 2,342 students under vocational schools project and developed a vocational curriculum for Class-6 and Class-7.

A model book on technical education for class-7 was also presented by NEF in the meeting.

Muhammad Baligh Ur Rehman appreciated the NEF and said that there is a great need for the promotion of technical and vocational education in the country.

The meeting was also attended by Joint Education Advisor Muhammad Rafique Tahir.
