LARKANA: Larkana’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Superintendent Police (SP) Irfan Samo on Wednesday claimed to have arrested two suspected Afghan nationals from village Saidudero ahead of the 10th death anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto which is to be held in Garhi Khuda Bux on December 27.
SP Samo told media that he along with other policemen carried out an intelligence-based search operation in Saidudero at night and arrested two suspected Afghan nationals. They have been shifted to an undisclosed place for further probe, he added.
Samo said that villagers of surrounding areas of Garhi Khuda Bux had been informed not to allow any unknown or outsider into their village and avoid providing any facility to them.
“CTD police and other security forces are constantly keeping a vigilant eye on such elements.” He warned that if anyone violated the instructions, cases under terrorism act would be registered against them.
Samo also urged the people to immediately inform the police if they notice any suspicious activity.
