PM announces compensation for Quetta church attack victims

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday announced a compensation package for the victims of Quetta church attack which resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.

According to the package, the families of the deceased will get Rs1 million each. Rs500,000 each will be paid to those seriously injured and Rs300,000 will be paid to those with minor injuries.

The said compensation announced by the federal government is in addition to the assistance being provided to the victims by the provincial government.
