ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party has said former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s screams tell that some new “ladla” (favourite) has come against him in the field.

Reacting to Nawaz’s statements given to media on the occasion of his appearance in the accountability court (AC) here Tuesday, PPP spokesman Chaudhry Manzoor said, “Nawaz Sharif has started screaming only after his fifth appearance in the court. We have been enduring the step-motherly treatment for the last five decades.”

He added, “We lifted bodies but did not scream. Nawaz Sharif has no concern with justice. He should stop playing a joke with the nation.”

He held that Nawaz earlier launched a movement for the personal judiciary and now he is hell-bent upon ruining the system for the sake of his personal justice.

“Nawaz has remained a part of every conspiracy and revenge against PPP,” he added.

PPP is not satisfied with the decisions of Hudaibiya Paper Mills and Niazi services, he remarked.

The real face of those who are alleging the martyrs of democracy has been exposed to the nation, he maintained.
