KARACHI: DWP Group on Monday organised the annual DWP Golf Tournament at the DHA Country and Golf Club, Karachi.
The event fielded 100+ top golfers from the corporate sector of Karachi competing for a total of 12 trophies and accompanied prizes. The tournament had three prizes each for gross and net score over two categories of high handicappers and low handicappers.
The tournament registrations began at 7:00 am and gunshot tee-off was at 8:30 pm.
Prizes were distributed among the winners and outstanding performers at the culmination of the event.
The event successfully attracted a diverse segment of the country’s corporate and business sector, making it a well-competed tournament, providing healthy entertainment and promoting golf in the country.
DWP Chairman Farooq Naseem, along with the DWP directors, MurtazaMandviwala, AftabTapal, TalibHalai, hosted the golf tournament and distributed prizes among the winners.
DWP Technologies COO Rohail Bashir also shared his thoughts about DWP’s upcoming business activities and commitment to flourish the entity by providing cutting edge products and services to the Pakistan market.
CISCO Systems Country General Manager Kashiful Haq, Pakistan and Afghanistan at APC by Schneider electric Vice President Munib Khawaja, Lenovo Sales CM Waqar Lodhi spoke about the strategic importance of Pakistan market, besides sharing plans of extending their products and services in Pakistan.
