KARACHI: A session was held on Sunday under Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar to resolve the conflicts within the party, a private media outfit reported citing sources.
According to the outlet, the party leadership said that the election campaign could not be run with turmoil within the party.
Sources further said that differences existed between party chief Farooq Sattar and Deputy Convener Amir Khan.
Both the leaders agreed to refrain from commenting against each other in the meeting which continued for five hours.
Differences between the two leaders had emerged after Sattar held a joint press conference with Pak Sar Zameen Party Chief Mustafa Kamal.
