Former representatives looted national exchequer: Shakeel Ahmad Khan

PESHAWAR: Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shakeel Ahmad Khan Advocate on Saturday said former public representatives had looted the national exchequer and made properties in Dubai and other European countries.

He made it clear that they would be made accountable in courts.

He was speaking to a public meeting held at near Batkhela which was also addressed by MNA Junaid Akbar and local Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders.

Nazim Union Council (UC) Amandara, Wali Muhammad Khan, Babu Shah Zaman, Naib Nazim UC Din Abad, Malak Riaz and Muhammad Zaman along with their friends and relatives resigned from PPP and joined PTI on the occasion.

The speakers criticized the former MPA of the area for selling government jobs and receiving heavy kick-backs in developmental schemes through their touts.

Comparing their government with the previous, they said that PTI had recruited through National Testing Service (NTS) on the basis of merit. Therefore, they said, we fulfilled the promise of providing employment without any political consideration, which they termed a visible change in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
