No one will be allowed to challenge writ of govt in Balochistan: Zehri

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Khan Zehri on Thursday said that no one will be allowed to challenge writ of the government in Balochistan and that it’s the government’s foremost responsibility to protect the life and property of the people of the province

He was talking to the media in Sibi after examining the work being done on the Sibi-Harnai railway section. He said that the provincial government will realise all promises made to the people of the province.

Zehri said that the restoration work on the track, which had started in 2015, would be completed before the tenure of the present government ends. He further stated that the track, when completed, would prove to be very beneficial to the residents of Sibi and Harnai, regarding trade and transportation of vegetables and minerals.

Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, provincial Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Frontier Corps Inspector General Maj Gen Nadeem Anjum, National Logistics Cell Director General Major Faisal Mushtaq, Balochistan IG Moazzam Jah Ansari and senior railway officials were present there with him.

CM Zehri said that the government is keen to provide better job and business opportunities to the people of Balochistan. He also said that all vacant seats in Balochistan will be filled on merit soon.

He said that in order to strengthen the force to effectively combat terrorists, more people will be recruited in Levies soon.
