Three killed over land dispute in Larkana

LARKANA: Three people of the Bugti community were gunned down and two others were injured in a firing over an old land dispute in the limits of Civil Lines Police Station here on Thursday.

The victims included Allah Dino, Dad Muhammad and his son Akbar Bugti.

The bodies and the injured were shifted to the emergency department of Chandka Medical College Hospital where police arrested Jan Muhammad Bugti and Janib Bugti.

Janib Bugti told newsmen that they had an old dispute over land with their own community people.

He said that they were returning home after attending a court hearing and were sitting at a hotel to have lunch near Chandka Bridge where the accused Khadim Hussain and Alim opened fire on them in which three persons were killed on the spot.

On the other hand, Jan Muhammad Bugti said that his father was killed in 1999 by their opponents over the same land dispute.

However, police said that case will be registered on the arrival of the affected parties.
