PESHAWAR: Advisor to Prime Minister Amir Muqam on Thursday asserted that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) would abolish the draconian Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR) law from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
Addressing party workers at the PML-N House in Karachi, he said that the party would bring FATA into the mainstream and give tribal people all the facilities that were being enjoyed by all citizens of Pakistan, said a press release issued by the party’s media wing.
He said the PML-N had always supported Pashtuns in need of the hour, adding that it would continue to resolve their issues with equal resolve.
Claiming that no political party ever served the people of KP and FATA, he said the PML-N would take all possible measure for the prosperity of the Pashtuns.
Giving the credit to the PML-N of bringing peace to Karachi, Muqam said, the PML-N resorted peace in the city, and now it has focused its energies on completing the Karachi-Peshawar motorway, which would cut short the long journey by hours.
Muqam claimed that people of Karachi fully supported Nawaz Sharif and would make PML-N successful in the general election of 2018.
