DUBAI: Pakistani female powerhouses Mahira Khan, Saba Qamar and Mawra Hocane were recently invited from Pakistan to attend the annual Masala UAE Awards in Dubai.
The awards, which took place last night, had a plethora of stars including the likes of Sri Devi Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, Govinda, Boman Irani and Arjun Rampal in attendance, along with our Pakistani divas.
All three superstars looked absolutely breathtaking and shone throughout the night. While Mahira Khan donned a watermelon pink halter neck gown, Saba Qamar wore a black and white gown. Mawra Hocane also wore a red dress with an elaborate train.
Mahira Khan was presented with an honourary award for Asian Woman of Substance.
Mawra Hocane won the Social Media Sensation award. This award was definitely well-deserved considering that the star has a following of almost 2.4 million on Instagram and 1.4 million on Facebook!
Saba Qamar won the award for Best Breakthrough. Given her stellar debut opposite Irrfan Khan in Hindi Medium, this was definitely a no-brainer.
Our resident favourite Meera also attended the Masala Awards and took to the stage to present Arjun Rampal with an award for Contribution to Cinema!
