NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: The Naushahro Feroze third civil judge and judicial magistrate, Ghulam Madani Memon has directed the principal of Government Degree College for Boys (GDC) to initiate a disciplinary action against absent teachers of the college.
The judge during the visit of the college on Thursday inspected the administration offices, library, classrooms, and the laboratories. He expressed his displeasure over poor sanitation, insufficient lights and broken furniture in the college.
A hand out released by the district information office further said that the judge also visited Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Naushahro Feroze campus (SBBU) and reviewed the ongoing bachelor degree examinations.
He expressed his astonishment over the limited number of students at the campus. Earlier during a visit of the Government Girls School (GGS) WAPDA Colony, Memon found the headmistress and six other teachers absent from the school besides a sparse attendance of students. The judge also visited GPS SCARP Colony and directed the headmaster to write to the higher authorities regard the ng dilapidated condition of the school’s building where students were taking classes under a shed.
The judge checked muster roles, attendance registers, SMC fund accounts and all the available facilities including drinking water, furniture, washrooms, as well as, the boundary walls.
