He said that he was confident that these relations will increase to a great extent with the expanding trade, economic and political interactions between the two countries.

Ahmad congratulated the Qatari government and people on the upcoming Qatar’s National Day on December 18. The Ambassador noted that the enhanced connectivity whether through frequent flights by Qatar Airways or through the new shipping routes opened between Karachi and Hamad ports are having a major impact on the bilateral relations between the two countries.

He also praised the Qatari government’s decision to grant entry visas to Pakistani citizens on arrival in Doha, saying that it is a significant step in increasing not only people to people contact, but also in facilitating the exchange of business and tourism delegations; thus, boosting the economy of the two countries, providing more investment opportunities and promoting cultural and social communications between both sides.
He added that this connectivity increases the opportunities of cooperation and cohesion between the two friendly people.

Ambassador Shahzad expressed his confidence that the cooperation between the State of Qatar and Pakistan will continue to advance and prosper.

He praised the vision and the wisdom of the Qatari leadership in dealing with internal and external crises, and hoped that Qatar will continue its path of progress and prosperity.
