Twin cities to have their own sightseeing buses

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) will inaugurate city tour buses on December 20 here at Pakistan China Centre, a senior official of PTDC said Wednesday.

He said that PTDC would offer special discount packages for students to promote tourism activities among them. The bus route would be between the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi which would cover the main spots, including Faisal Mosque, Shakarparian, Lakeview Park and many other sights, he added.

He said that the main aim of this mega project was to facilitate the tourists as much as PTDC could do and to promote tourism in the country. He said this long-awaited project was in its final stages and PTDC expected that it would attract a large number of people.

A student Hassan Ali said, “When I found out that PTDC will be introducing city tour buses in the twin cities, I have been anxiously waiting to take the tour and enjoy the beautiful view of the capital city.”
