FAISALABAD: Jubilant aerial firing during a wedding ceremony claimed the life of a seven-year boy here on Wednesday.
Police said that during a marriage ceremony in Dijikot area of Faisalabad, cousins and friends of the bridegroom opened heavy jubilant aerial firing.
A 7-year-old boy died after being hit by a bullet. The body was shifted to a hospital for a postmortem after which it was handed over to his heirs.
The police after registering a case into the incident have started the investigation.
