LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved three development schemes for Health and Urban Development Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs8,556 million.
The schemes were approved in the 36th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of the current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over by Planning and Development Department Chairman Jahanzeb Khan.
The approved development schemes include the purchase of ventilators and beds with basic ICU Equipment in all teaching hospitals of Punjab at the cost of Rs760 million, construction of the structural road from Expo Center to Ring Road Lahore at the cost of Rs4,825 million and another road from Expo Center to Khayban-e-Jinnah at the cost of Rs. 2,970 million.
