LAHORE: Three labourers were killed, another three injured after they were electrocuted in Lahore’s Sunder area on Monday.
The rescue sources informed that the labourers were working in an under-construction building when the 22-feet-long iron rod they were carrying came into contact with live power wires overhead, resulting in electrocution of all six labourers.
The under-construction building is located on Multan Road.
The injured labourers, identified as Shaan, Tariq and Razzaq, were shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment, where they are said to be in a critical condition.
The deceased have been identified as Mehboob, Qaiser and Shakeel.
