Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair on Monday warned that any attempt to topple the government through sit-ins will cause the big loss to country and will also create provocation in the society.
Addressing a seminar in Karachi, the governor said, “Once Karachi was considered most dangerous city, however present government has even locked doors of those, who had been shut Karachi,” adding that today people of Karachi were fearless. He turned down the politics of sit-ins and said there was no place for sit-ins in Karachi, however if anyone wanted to hold meeting, the government will provide them all kinds of facilities.
“Only five months left for the completion of the present government tenure, therefore, there is a dire need to make full attention for holding transparent and fair election processes in 2018 and this can only be completed through dialogues not protests,” Zubair said.
