YFK protests against human rights violation in Kashmir

LAHORE: Youth Forum for Kashmir (YFK) on Sunday organised a protest demonstration from the Aiwan-e-Iqbal to the Lahore Press Club against human rights violations inside the Indian-held Kashmir (IHK) and on the Line of Control (LOC) by the Indian army and its paramilitary forces.

A large number of people participated in the demonstration.

YFK Chief Organiser Tariq Ehsan Ghouri and other leaders of the forum addressed the participants on the occasion. Chanting slogans against rights violations by the Indian forces in the disputed state, they urged the world community and human rights’ defenders to listen to the voices of Kashmiris.

They were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of Kashmir struggle.

He added that December 10 reminds United Nations and other world powers of their responsibilities on the long-standing issue of Kashmir.

He further stated that Kashmiris demand their right to a plebiscite as per resolutions of UN Security Council.
