KARACHI: Roads leading to the United States Consulate were closed by the Karachi traffic police on Sunday for security reasons.
Citizens have been advised to adopt alternate routes from Mai Kolachi and Moulvi Tamizuddin Khan roads for their commutation purposes as these have been sealed by the police.
The decision to close the roads have been taken in the wake of protests against US President Donald Trump’s move to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
It is pertinent to mention that US State Department, in its latest travel advisory, has advised its citizens to avoid all non-essential visits to Pakistan.
