PTI announces to take ‘imam of corruption’ in Sindh to courts

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday that his party would save Sindh from the shackles of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his corrupt cohort.

He said that it is time to take Zardari to courts after former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

These statements were made by the PTI chief in Islamabad after party leader Ali Zaidi briefed him about the issues being faced by the people of Sindh, particularly in Karachi, reported a private news channel.

PTI chairman also announced that he is coming to Karachi next week and added that with the help of people, he will decide about the future of Zardari and his group. According to him, the alleged uncontrolled corruption of PPP in Sindh is unacceptable and intolerable.

“PTI has been focusing on Sindh. We will not sit peacefully until a change is brought in the province. To eliminate corruption from Pakistan and Sindh, PTI will now go after the ‘imam’ of corruption in Sindh,” said Imran Khan.

On this occasion, PTI’s Ali Zaidi also added that the province was suffering due to the bad performance of PPP. “With the slogans of Roti, Kapra Aur Makaan (food, job and shelter) and Jiye Mohajir (long live refugee), venom is being injected into the nerves of the people in Sindh.”

He said that PTI’s message of a change was the only solution for the people of Sindh.
