ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah has strongly condemned the act of recognising Jerusalem (Al-Quds) as the capital of Israel, terming it a disastrous step by the US.
In a statement issued here Friday, he said that effective strategy will have to be adopted against US President Donald Trump’s anti-Islam move.
He went on to say that the US gave the message to the world that it believes to run the world by dint of force. US violated UN resolutions, and UN could not implement its resolutions on Kashmir and Palestine.
He underlined that UN was playing the role of ‘might is right’. If UN continues to play such a role, then it is of no use for Muslim countries to remain associated with it. Trump’s policies have created tension in the Muslim world, and now the Muslim world will have to get united on one platform, he urged.
