LAHORE: Residents of UC-266 Mangamandi are suffering from unhygienic conditions in the area and blamed the provincial government for the worsening health of residents.
Piles of garbage along with muddy and damp conditions in the area at times cease daily routine activities and lead to the germination of various harmful diseases.
Inhabitants have repeatedly appealed the concerned authorities to look into the water and sanitation issues of the area but all their demands fell on deaf ears and the authorities have not taken any steps in this regard.
Children are affected by diseases like hepatitis and gastro by drinking impure water. Locals blamed the political representation and demanded proper health provisions in the area
